STREET CHAMPIONS REQUIRED FOR WELSHPOOL

WELSHPOOL COMMUNITY PLAN

In November 2008 Welshpool Town Council adopted a Community Plan based upon public consultation.

The main theme of the plan is to create more pride in Welshpool looking to tackle litter, dog mess, parking, drinking and many other antisocial matters.

STREET CHAMPIONS

The Council is seeking to appoint street champions for small groups of streets. Each street champion would seek to promote pride in their bit town, liaise with the Town Council on local matters and meet with the Council from time to time to agree strategies which would achieve the aims of the Community Plan.
