Dog Fouling Order (Miscl provisions) ( Wales) Regulations 2007

PART 1

GROUNDS TO WHICH THE ORDER RELATES

The grounds to which this order applies are as follows:

Maes Y Dre Recreation Grounds

            Maes Y Dre Memorial Gardens

            Maes Y Dre Skateboard Park

            Little Henfaes Lane play area

            Scansis Pitch Oldford Estate

            Brookfield Road play area

            Dol Y Felin play area and playing fields

PART 2

RESTRICTIONS

No person may allow their dog to foul any part of the grounds set out above.  If a dog does foul the owner must clear up the fouling immediately.

No person may allow any dog to run free (not on a lead) except in the Brookfield Road playing field area.

PART 3

MISCELLANEOUS

Obstruction

1.                  No person shall obstruct:

            (a)        any officer of the Council in the proper execution of his duties;

            (b)        any person carrying out an act which is necessary to the   proper execution of any contract with the Council; or

            (c)        any other person in the proper use of the ground.

Removal of offenders

2.                  Any person offending against any of these byelaws may be removed from the ground by an officer of the Council or a constable.

Penalty

3.                  Any person offending against any of these byelaws shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 2 on the standard scale.
