1.         Apologies for absence:

            Apologies were received from Cllr H Evans and Cllr Dr J Morgan.

2.         Minutes of the last meeting:

            The minutes of the last meeting were accepted as a correct record.

3.         Planning Applications:

            The following planning applications were considered:

            P2010 0450  4a High Street

            Change of use from Office (B1) to Gym (D2).

The Committee SUPPORTS this application.   

            P2010 0475  Welshpool Rugby Club Maes y Dre (Powis Estates)

            The importation of temporary storage of materials (soil).

            The Committee SUPPORTS this application.   

4.         Severn Valley Regeneration Scheme:

            The booklets on the scheme were circulated to members.

Cllr Dr J Morgan attended the launch meeting by the WAG and Powys County Council.  A full discussion can take place at the next meeting.

5.         Tesco Scheme and One Way System Programme:

The Town Clerk had received a detailed copy of the programme for the old Smithfield site development.  The start date proposed for the scheme and one way system is 7^th June with completion at the end of October 2010.
